Visit Lamb’s Rest Inn in New Braunfels and tour Canyon Lake Gorge - The Canyon Lake Gorge was created by the 2002 flood event and was eroded to depths up to 40 feet below the pre-flooded terrain. This is the result of floodwaters escaping over the spillway at Canyon Dam. This tragic event “unearthed” a true treasure. For the protection of the Gorge and public safety, The Canyon Lake Gorge is open for Guided Tours Only.
