May 10-12th. Take advantage of this opportunity to buy a 3 day ticket to tour many of the Hill Country wineries and sample straight from the barrel or tank. During these tastings you may pre-order wine before it is even made available. There will also be wine and food pairings, and entertainment at participating wineries. This weekend tour is only being made available to 100 guests, so purchase your tickets now. Get more information at http://texaswinetrail.com/store/item/spring-barrel-tank-futures-tasting. This would make a wonderful Mother’s Day or Anniversary excursion.
Don’t forget to book your room after your tickets are purchased!
We always find it interesting which rooms are a guest’s favorite and why. Before you choose your favorite, try out our newest addition, the Texan Suite. This room is a must see with its romantic decor infused with the warmth of Texas. The most pleasing amenity is the separate sitting room with a small sofa and flat screen TV. Many whom have stayed here mention how great it is to sneak off into the other room for a good read, an enjoyable movie, or a little web surfing while their companion snoozes. Come try it out and choose your new favorite.
Visit Lamb’s Rest Inn in New Braunfels and tour Canyon Lake Gorge - The Canyon Lake Gorge was created by the 2002 flood event and was eroded to depths up to 40 feet below the pre-flooded terrain. This is the result of floodwaters escaping over the spillway at Canyon Dam. This tragic event “unearthed” a true treasure. For the protection of the Gorge and public safety, The Canyon Lake Gorge is open for Guided Tours Only. Last couple of weeks the Guadalupe river was too high for toobing -however the Canyon Dam has reduced the release and the river is NOW perfect for all toobing, kayaking, canoeing or just for playing. A great company for renting toobs is the RockinR in Gruene, Texas.
Come visit the Lamb’s Rest Inn for a relaxing and exciting weekend.
